Sheryl Doering Meshke is the vice president of public affairs for Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI), a Midwest dairy cooperative with $1.6 billion in annual sales. She is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of government relations, public relations, and both shareholder and employee communication. She also serves as treasurer of the AMPI Political Action Committee and manages the AMPI Young Cooperator program.
Meshke is past president of the Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA) and is a recipient of the group's Michael Graznak Award, which recognizes an outstanding young communicator. She is also a four-time winner of the National Milk Producers Federation Dairy Communicator of the Year award.
Though she has received numerous honors for her work in communications, two of her most prized awards come from the 4-H and FFA. Meshke is a recipient of the Honorary American FFA Degree, Honorary Minnesota FFA Degree and the Blue Earth County 4-H Alumni Award.
Currently, Meshke serves as past chairman of the Minnesota FFA Foundation Board of Trustees, a member of The Cooperative Foundation Board of Trustees and a 4-H Club leader.
Meshke received a bachelor's degree in agricultural journalism and an animal science minor from South Dakota State University. She earned a Master of Business Communication degree from the University of St. Thomas.
