  Purpose

The Cooperative Communicators Association Speakers Bureau has a wide variety of well-informed communicators available to speak to your organization and share their expertise on various subjects as listed below. The purpose of this Speakers Bureau is to provide education and expertise to other CCA member cooperatives. Speakers are also available to other cooperatives, non-profit businesses, community groups, and for-profit businesses.

If you are interested in one of the following topics, please contact the speaker directly. You'll find their telephone numbers as well as e-mail addresses when you click on the name of the speaker under each topic. It is at the discretion of the speaker whether he/she can accept your invitation. To finalize your request, we ask that you complete a Speaker Request Form and e-mail it to CCA and the speaker.

Please discuss in advance with the speaker the fee for time, air/travel, food, overnight accommodations as necessary, handouts, etc. If speakers do not charge a fee for their time and your organization decides to provide an honorarium, it should be directed to the CCA Speakers Bureau, and it will be used to promote cooperative education and other goals of CCA.

The speaker and requesting organization should communicate any differences to these guidelines to eliminate any misunderstandings. Please see the section on Guidelines for additional suggestions and tips for presentations. Of course, all details should be covered in your written communication. CCA and CCA speakers adhere to the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
